Letter to Dana was the 7th song on Sonata Arctica's album "Ecliptica." The song revolves around a girl named Dana O'hara, and the singer longing to see her again. Ecliptica came out in 1999, and was Sonata Arctica's first album. It had 10 tracks (or 11, depending on where you lived) and was remade in 2014 for the 15th anniversary. Although this opening sounds like it was played on a flute, it is still playable on the Ocarina, just not to the same degree as the original. The flute appears only two times in the song; the opening, and about 4 minutes in, in which the flute plays the chorus of the song during an instrumental break. The flute opening itself is about 20 seconds long.
